Can you add my application to AppData?
Yes. If you can't find your app on AppData, simply send your application name and ID via our Add Your App page.

Where do you get your data?
All Facebook application traffic data comes directly from Facebook via the API. Additional data may be generated by AppData research or provided by third parties.

What is the difference between AppData and AppData Pro?
AppData Pro contains additional features, tools and data for analysis and research. More information is available here.

What should I know about the application traffic data provided by Facebook?
Facebook provides us with application traffic data in order to assist users and the developer community. While the data is intended to be accurate, Facebook has from time to time discovered errors in the measurement of application traffic. In particular, bugs, changes in measurement methodology, changes in the applications themselves, human error or other items may result in errors or inaccuracy in the application traffic data. It should also be noted that AppData does not track a comprehensive listing of all the applications on Facebook.

How often are application traffic numbers updated?
Once per day.

Why did many applications see a decrease in active user counts on 15 October 2011?
On 14 October Facebook announced an update to the formula it uses to count active users that is likely to produce a one-time decline in stats for many apps. It’s important to note that this change doesn’t correlate to any actual change in traffic to apps. The numbers will now simply no longer include users who don’t log in. Click here for more info.

Why did active user counts start being rounded during October 2011?
In October 2011 Facebook began rounding application user counts. These changes were reflected at that time in AppData.
