A modern twist on a familiar Christmas tradition. From 1st December onwards, each day reveals a new delight – make your own snowflakes, decorate a Christmas tree, or watch a funny animated sketch. Every scene is based on a well-known London landmark – you will visit Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and much more. From the giant Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square to the shimmering lights of Regent Street, London’s historic sites and stunning seasonal decorations will come alive on your iPad as you count down the days until Christmas.

Jacquie Lawson’s talented team of artists and animators are well known to the members of her e-cards website, jacquielawson.com, and the London Advent Calendar – the second in an ongoing series – is an extraordinary showcase of their skills and artistry.

Please note: The animation for 1st December will be available upon installation. Subsequent days’ animations will be revealed throughout the month of December.

Animations of this kind can be demanding of technical resources. Unfortunately the original iPad doesn’t have the oomph required for an optimal Advent Calendar viewing experience so we recommend you only install it on iPad 2 or 3. And unless you have a large data allowance for your iPad, do make sure you have a Wi-Fi connection when you access the Advent Calendar!
